I apologize for the short reviews, but short is sweet...
Robinson writes cross genres, and always seems to amaze me. This story is about Nathan who lives in a world of inconceivable loneliness. His mother’s life is machine operated, he is friendless, and finds love in a woman who he doesn’t think would give him the time of day. Nathan’s life takes a turn for the better, and for the worse, far worse. This author has a poetic ability to put you in the character’s head until your mind is latched with the words and you have an instant buy in and relatable time with the story. I loved this book, the means to an end, the stark contrast of life, death, friendship and loneliness spinning in an existence that this author has mastered.
