Monday! And it's SepTIMber 1st! I have so much in store, so much to write, so let me get started on my Monday ramble and update! Don't forget to come back here EVERY day for something new through November and beyond. Read the August newsletter (link at top - the green button) for all the fine detail and the grammar of unedited glory!
The crisp SepTIMber conversation today is: Do you have a plan?
By plan I mean if you die do the people or persons you're leaving behind know what they're going to do for your bag of bones, ashes or body? Maria and I don't, but want to have one. Do your loved ones know whether you want to be cremated, buried, a service or a fucking eulogy? What will they do and what do you want from them? After all, you vacated this physical plane, a lowly place of existence and shed that bag of bones holding you upright. Maria and I don't personally know yet, but what we are leaving for our loved ones, the few remaining who actually give a shit, is not really anything extravagant, except for the potential memories we have given, maybe the fond memory that we were good people despite some unpopular belief. Okay, maybe a letter, since I'm a writer and all, LOL.
There's one thing we have come to terms with, we want our ashes to be spread in multiple locations, together. A list will be constructed eventually. This will be part of our "goodbye cruel world" as we're welcomed into nature as one. Hopefully our ashes don't fly into the faces of those saying goodbye. Maria and I have never really settled on coordinates, those all remain to be mapped.
So what is your plan? Let me know in the comments if your so inclined.
Tomorrow, I'm starting from the beginning of our journey as full time RVers! Happy TIM! (Thankful It's Monday) And come back tomorrow for more excitement!

Yup. Hubby and I both have plans. Cremation, mix our ashes with our cremated pets (including the rats) and unfortunately, we have a plot already from his daughter who passed away entirely too young. We have no issues talking about this stuff. We both have a list of songs we want played, if we pass at an appropriate age, there's not going to be any family members left, so no big party. But absolutely no church service, just a get together somewhere outside and and if we're old, we will be seeing each other again very soon. We've already had the "when to pull the plug" discussion. We've talked about every facet of death and dying. Him because he's lost…
Unfortunately it's something that was on my mind after I was divorced and more so after Thad died. I had the paperwork done after my divorce and then a couple of years ago Les and I both did all the paperwork again. Got forms off the Internet and then had them notorized.
