Bob took my ear and chewed it off, afterward he handed me a thick binder of papers, written with pen, pages scribbled on and typed, there were smudges smeared on some of the once clean white paper by pencil that had been written and erased. Bob, as you know, was a story teller and I wonder if this Seth guy was just him trying his hand at writing and fucking with me.
In one conversation Bob announced that his grandfather, who had been in jail for a felony, was being released. In a last ditch attempt he asked the warehouse bosses if he could get time off. They denied him, and he quit. He texted me a few times after, but just to convince me to come to the new job he was working at and leave the pussies behind. I declined and was relieved that he never asked me for the binder back or texted me again.
Unfortunately, while living in Florida, I was working too much to delve into the writings of “Seth”. The work assignment was temporary, so I was down to about a month left. The news was getting tense with words of Corona Virus, and our trip back to Dark Nest was looking further and further out.
I reluctantly went into work, day in and day out. I hoped not to catch the virus that infiltrated the news. Every day I worked I was taking a risk of spreading it to Maria or my parents, all who were high risk. I finally made the decision to quit the job early and spend the next two months in a “bubble” so to speak, and avoid getting sick. I had a lot of time to translate some of the writings of Seth, and I was intrigued and overwhelmed, to say the least.
With the best of intentions, I took most of his story and put it into a document, and placed events and structure in order to ease you into the story. There are elements of horror, albeit, mild, and what better month than October to share them with you?
I did some digging on Seth and found nothing of this individual. In fact, whoever wrote it, er-hum, Bob, used my fictitious town of Stevats (this helped alleviate my guilt as I share it here). I tried to reach out to Bob but all of his social media information, his phone, everything was gone. I couldn’t even find him on whitepages(dot)com. Even the mutual friend I had with him on Facebook didn’t have a clue and she was his cousin by marriage.
I’m taking some liberties to share these pages with you on this blog and hopefully on some other digital platforms to try and recoup some money for my time spent. This man Seth and his travels are a true inspiration to our journey and where Maria and I want to explore. Next Wednesday, read the pages at your own risk, after each chapter is posted, I’ll follow up every other blog to let you know what I think of the area, and what mysteries, usually none, that I find.
Next week Seth's story begins in his grand entrance to the page, come back every Wednesday and ENJOY! To see some of the events and videos of Florida, I've taken liberty to post a video below of an area we explored...FULL DISCLOSURE... Dark Song, or Seth's Story, once fully posted, will be taken down a month after the last chapter.
Thanks so much for reading...
