What I Stuffed in the Trunk, and the Road of 2026 ahead...

Updated: 3 days ago

Good Morning! It's 2026, lets get this year started!

For those of you who only get my news on the blog, here I am again, writing a entry in real time. I woke up this morning, thankful for that, and it's a new year. I've taken the past year, learned from it, and arose from a deep, rested sleep, on this January 1st with more motivation than ever, hoping that it continues this new year.

I know I've mentioned some loss in 2025, but I also gained a lot. I've gained some experience with new workamping skills, good friends, connections, and I've finished two novels, yes, two novels, which I've stuffed away into the proverbial trunk as I venture into other writing endeavors for 2026. So with that, I'm alive, have two novels ready to release, and I give you a view of the tentative covers and titles below. I have landed a job for the summer in a place that Maria and I have visited before. It's quaint, touristy, and has all the nostalgia of our first vacation together in the summer of 1993, revisited in 2013 and we're excited to go again (can you guess where)? Details coming soon...

Thanks for stopping by this morning, and thanks for the endless support, whether it's clicking on this blog, reading my posts, or engaging in my horror, I appreciate you.

Thanks for reading!
