Violation, the Movie, Will Violate Something, but Missed Violating my Dopamine Levels

In the world of Working on Wednesday, (WOW), I give you a middle of the week movie pick, and a quick review! Violation, the Movie, will violate something, but missed violating my dopamine levels...review below...

Today I'm reviewing, Violation... This movie could have been so much more. It was a “I Spit on Your Grave”-esque, revenge style movie. A want-to-be movie star is shacked up as a side piece with a hunter and his buddies (in a desert somewhere). The main man leaves and a rape between a friend and the woman occurs. This gritty movie had me doubting some of the scenarios, like the survival of the female character as she was pushed over a cliff, landing on a sharp branch and surviving enough to seek revenge (after a peyote scene in a cave that she crawled to). There were some surprises, and the movie did not lack gore. If you like a female lead seeking revenge towards her abusers, and can deal with the intermingling of the English and French languages, you may deem this movie a watch when you have some spare time. I wouldn’t personally rush to watch it, but feel free to check it out…hopefully you find this short review about this movie worthy and have yet another movie to add to your watch list…
